Welcome

Youth Acres is a 70.2 acre piece of land that sits on Canton Lake. We offer a variety of outdoors options for our youth of all ages including cub scouts, girl scouts, boy scouts, church groups and more. Come out and enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, play games, or just spend the day outside. Lots of space for your youth to run free and get some fresh air and exercise. Covered pavilions are located throughout Youth Acres with picnic tables for you to enjoy.

Our Storied Past
Early in 1942, under the leadership of Doctor PD Reinersten, membership of the Rotary Club, Kiwanis Club, YMCA, the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, and the Indian Guide Tribes formed a corporation known as Canton Youth Organization.

Meet the Bay Area
Born in the Outer Sunset, San Franpsycho originally began as a surfing film documenting the local Ocean Beach surf scene in 2001. After the film, fans identified with the name and demanded we make clothing. So we learned the art of screen-printing, creating various garments in a dark basement by night, and selling out of of an orange and black zebra-striped van named Big Chaos by day.
